How to make the original Nestle Tollhouse Chocolate Chip Cookies - By Tay

I made this for math class. It was sooo good.

Prep Time- 15 min.

Cooking time-9 min.

Skill level-Easy

Ingredients-

2 ¼ cups of all purpose flour

1 teaspoon of baking soda

1 teaspoon of baking salt

1 cup, or 2 sticks of butter

¾ cup of granulated sugar

¾ cup packed brown sugar

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

2 large eggs

2 cups of Nestle Tollhouse chocolate or any chocolate in general

1 cup of chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions-

Preheat the oven to 375° F. (190° C for those in Canada)

Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in a large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.

Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
