Haiku

haiku are poems

with seventeen syllables

they come from japan

the syllables are

divided into three lines

five, seven and five

they tell stories of

nature and beauty and truth

simple and profound

even though haiku

may take years to master

kids write the best ones

Haiku can be changing and the definition of 5,7,5 can always be alternating, such as the meaning of poems, some rhyme and some are acrostic!
